The Introduction

Imagine reaching the shores of America after a long, arduous boat ride. You were threatened by storms and pirates and the sight of land is sheer joy and glee. There is no Statue of Liberty waving hello from the distance and as you near, all you see is miles and miles forest and trees. You see no trace of planes in the sky, towering skyscrapers or even a house, perhaps just the occasional tepee or longhouse. Cars are nonexistent. As you step onto the land that you are to finally call home, home is the farthest thought from mind. There are no hotels to check into, barely a community to take you in. Before you stretches miles of where you are to make your home, yet, there is nothing there. All is vast and bare. A forest of nothingness. Now the work begins. The planting, building, working, scurrying to give this wonderland of nature the title and feel of home. Imagine you were a new arrival to colonial America. This is the scene that would meet you. Now, you are about to take a step back into those days. Prepare to embark on a journey back to colonial America. Before you do so, check your mail. There is an envelope containing highly classified information addressed to you. Open your envelope.
